All but option 5 have registration fees

you can make your own choice of which option you prefer but we highly recommend our options 2 or 5 as we pay District Court Costs and solicitor fees associated with enforcement of Court orders on these options.

Please note during 2009 almost all Tenancy Tribunal ordered debts were put back to the District Court under enforcement.

The reason we only offer 1 option on a contingency basis/ "results only" basis is that we found many creditors get us to start work on tracing their debtors and when the only option is to litigate or enforce a debt they fail to commit themselves to any action which, frankly, wastes a lot of our time and resources.

Option 1 - Court application & document preparation, process serving, repossessions, private investigation, Court hearing representation, simple recording of a debt on subsidiary's tenant checking system which can be found at www.tinz.net.nz.

If you have written off chasing the debt

Registration of Debt – no pro-active tracing – debt will also be lodged on Tenancy Information New Zealand Ltd – www.tinz.net.nz and Veda Advantage (formerly known as Baycorp)

$20 + GST per debt (i.e. per Court order)

25% + GST commission of any amount recovered if debtor decides to pay us to clear default

Option 2 - This is our most preferred option to receive instructions from you.

If you want fixed known costs and you don't want to pay any costs of enforcement

Debt Collection of ALL sizes of debt - has an upfront fee, lower commission and we pay for all enforcement (collection) costs via the District Court if required -

(Order for examination costs and solicitor costs now amount to a minimum of $540 as of 24.5.10 - due to a Judge's ruling in 2005 that all debt collection agencies must use solicitors to sign off all enforcement applications and appear at hearings and then these costs can amount to $840 if a debtor fails to appear at any hearing and we have apply for a warrant to arrest them - what is good is that you don't pay any of these costs, on one enforcement, on this option.)

Registration fee of $240 + GST - and then we deduct 20% + GST commission

from any amount we recover or the debtor pays direct to you or any other agency you might also have instructed.

Option 3 - Obsolete

Option 4 - Debt Collection of debts of ALL sizes

If you are prepared to pay some of the costs of enforcement

has an upfront registration fee, and commission is deducted from debt as it is recovered - you pay only 50% of any costs of enforcement via the District Court before any enforcement starts.

on this option you pay 50% of these costs - all costs are added to the debt to repaid to you).

Registration fee of $120 + GST - and then we will deduct 30% + GST commission

from any amount we recover or the debtor pays direct to you or any other agency you might also have instructed.

Option 5 - Debt Collection of debts greater than $800 - "the only results only" option.

If you want no upfront costs and you don't want to pay any costs of enforcement

No registration fee, high commission is deducted from debt as it is recovered - we pay for any costs of enforcement via the District Court

We will deduct 50% + GST commission

from any amount we recover or the debtor pays direct to you or any other agency you might also have instructed.

Option 7 - Debt Collection of debts under $1000

For Small debts where you know where debtor is living/working and want an "independant" to approach them but unsure if you will follow through with litigation or enforcement.

Please note that NO active tracing is undertaken on this option. Only letters of demand will be sent to known addresses offered by you. We will undertake a maximum of 3 phone calls to known numbers for your debtor. This option does NOT cover civil litigation nor enforcement costs.

Registration fee of $40 + GST - and then we will deduct 40% + GST commission from any amount recovered.
