I had a tenant, a one time Apprentice of my Father, so my house was rented to him with a portion of good will. Unfortunately, things went sour and despite persuing, myself, the necessary channels set down by the Tenancy Tribunal, my tenant disappeared, leaving unpaid rent in the vicinity of $2500.00.

I approached CIA Debt Collectors and it became clear to us that my tenant was well rehearsed in this process, leaving debts with many people . A shady character.

My tenant did not comply with the legal restrictions imposed by CIA and it seemed like a hopeless case. This case remained with CIA for about 2 years and was solved . I have recently received a repayment of this debt, thanks to the tenacity of CIA.

I think not only is the logistical but also the emotional impact of these situations difficult to deal with and highly recommend CIA to provide the necessary support in dealing with those who consider themselves 'above ' the Law. Their ingenuity and hard work is offered at an excellent value [and] price.

As a rental property investor, occasionally I have a tenant who refuses to pay me. The action I then take is to put the matter in the hands of Geoff Knight's team at the CIA so to speak. Recently, the company’s standard of service went way beyond what I would ordinarily expect. I had obtained a Tenancy Tribunal Order against a Tenant who took a holiday at Her Majesty's pleasure. As soon as that holiday ended, Geoff’s team took up the reins and started the ball rolling to collect the debt. I had all but forgotten about this - it was after all several years ago that the matter came to an end by the Tenant taking her holiday. Geoff clearly has the memory of an Elephant thank heavens and now I am looking forward to collecting on this debt after all. I can thoroughly recommend Geoff and his team at CIA.
